Project's Activities:

To strengthen cybersecurity education and digital capacity in VET, DEFENDERS implements a coherent set of complementary activities:

Project Management and Coordination

Project Management and Coordination
Ensures the project runs smoothly, on time, and within budget, while coordinating communication and responsibilities among all partners.

Regular meetings between partners from different countries to plan, monitor progress, and align on project goals and deliverables.

Development of a structured curriculum covering:

  • Introduction to Cybersecurity
  • Cyber Hygiene and Best Practices
  • Network Security
  • Protecting Digital Assets
  • Incident Response and Management
  • Cybersecurity Compliance and Legal Aspects

Development of a structured training program covering key cybersecurity topics for vocational education students and staff.

Capacity-building training in Greece enabling instructors to confidently deliver the cybersecurity curriculum using innovative pedagogical approaches. Training sessions for teachers to equip them with the knowledge and methods needed to deliver the cybersecurity curriculum effectively.

Creation of an online platform providing access to learning materials, interactive content, and tools for cybersecurity education. 
An interactive digital learning environment hosting curriculum modules, multimedia materials, quizzes, gamified activities, and simulations.

Preparation of staff to plan, manage, and support a cybersecurity hackathon, including mentorship and event coordination skills.

A hands-on competition where students apply cybersecurity skills to solve real-world challenges in a collaborative environment.

Public events aimed at raising awareness about cybersecurity, promoting safe digital behavior, and sharing project results.

Activities focused on promoting the project, sharing results, and ensuring long-term impact beyond the project duration.
