Defending VET Students within Cybersecurity Innovation
The DEFENDERS project (Defending VET Students within Cybersecurity Innovation), supported by the Erasmus+ programme under KA210-VET, is an innovative initiative designed to strengthen cybersecurity education in vocational education and training (VET). The project equips VET students and instructors with essential digital security skills to respond to today’s rapidly evolving cyber threats.
DEFENDERS addresses the growing demand for a skilled and cyber-aware workforce by modernising VET curricula and introducing practical, hands-on learning experiences in key cybersecurity domains. Through a structured six-module curriculum, transnational training, an educational digital platform, and interactive hackathon-based learning, the project enhances digital readiness, resilience, and capacity within vocational education systems.
